Rebekah Dryburgh

Rebekah is general psychologist who works primarily with children and young people. She completed her studies at Deakin University in Victoria. She has experience working with clients across the lifespan in the public and private sectors. Rebekah has worked across various clinical settings, including forensic, disability, child and adult mental health, and positive behaviour support. Rebekah has experience facilitating individual and group-based therapy.

Rebekah has extensive experience with children and young people with a range of difficulties. She is accomplished at assessments and therapy and works from our downstairs room which is set up specifically for this population. Rebekah has a special interest in providing therapy to children and adolescents, and also adults with post-natal concerns and difficulties. She has a wealth of strategies and tools to draw from, engaging her clients, and assisting to make gains in-session and between sessions.

Rebekah is a Mum of one, very cute and active little boy. She has returned from maternity leave with a healthy appreciation of attachment dynamics for new Mums, informed by her training in the Circle of Security program. Rebekah is warm, patient, and sensitive to the diverse needs of her clients. She is particularly interested in how trauma impacts on the developing brain and rebuilding parent-child attachment following adverse life events.
